About

I want you to know why I coach. I could insert here a childhood story about my obsession with having a job supporting people after visiting a health insurance advisor with my dad when I was four.

But instead, I’ll start with me fresh out of college.

When I was twenty-two, I got my first job as a community manager in shared office space. In my second year at the company, I was promoted to manage a building alone. My tenants were tech startups. I excelled as a community manager overall but the culture of that company had run me dry. In parallel, I watched happy startup employees head for coffee and lunch at all times of the day, play sports in their offices, and work together.

I wanted that.

Less than a year later, I left my CM role for a Support and Success role at a startup. I loved the product, the culture and the working environment. But something was nagging at me. Recruitment fascinated me, most of HR did. And I wanted to work in HR tech. So I left my startup job for a sales role and transitioned from that to recruitment.

Recruitment is cutthroat and admittedly--I’m a soft girl. But I loved working with the candidates. I loved getting people jobs. I loved coaching. So I started my own business. By then I returned happily and easily to Customer Success, specializing in launching cx departments at small startups. I would take on the role as the first and only CS agent and build the department out from under me. I spent my twenties climbing the startup ladder by delivering a unique and backbreaking service and filling my schedule with extracurricular activities to make me a mouthwatering, jaw-dropping candidate for companies

And by thirty, I was absolutely exhausted.

What do you notice here? One, I go after what I want, and I get it. I attract jobs easily and I’m able to experiment and have fun in what could be a tormenting and stressful process. And two, I was living to work!

I was in my twenties! I missed out on a lot of life clawing at the door to offices, busting my way into them.

I’m now Head of Customer Success at [a very cool company]. I enjoy my day-to-day, love my coworkers and our product makes a difference. What’s more, I can combine my love of tech startups and coaching -- because I run our coaching team too. If I had a dream job, this is it.

When I look back on my own journey I have no regrets, because if I had not worked myself to the bone and recovered, I wouldn’t be able to help you now! Your path to your goals can be peaceful, organized, and successful. I’ve helped hundreds of women get jobs, network, boost their confidence and live more fulfilling professional and personal lives. I want to do the same for you. I coach for your wins, your lightbulb moments, your progress. I coach because I have joy in my career and I want others to have it as well.

You’re up next.
